D-100 docks are ideal for residential or commercial installations.  They combine the strength, durability and stability of a pipe driven dock, with the easy installation of a floating dock.

Frames are constructed of high tensile strength galvanized steel and aluminum, for superior load carrying ability, strength and durability. D-100 castings are high tensile alloy rustproof aluminum.  Extra deep bosses are designed to prevent stripping of the threads.  We use hardened and plated bolts – 1/w2 inch for strength – with a hex head that fits standard sockets and wrenches.

Vertical Support and horizontal frame pipes are hot-dip galvanized high tensile strength steel, and are enclosed inside the edge of the dock, where they are less likely to damage your boat, or smash your fingers on.

Low Maintenance Decking

Our Sections are generously built – a full 4 by 10 feet – and built to last. We offer low maintenance western red cedar.

Cedar decks are constructed of 2” x 8” lumber with extruded aluminum rails.  Decks are built in thirds, for ease in lifting.  Every board is sealed to prevent checking and rot, the screwed from underneath with a hot-dipped galvanized screw, so there are no visible fasteners.  A polyethylene bumper is integrated into the aluminum side rail, to provide a no mar surface for your boat to slide on.  While in time the cedar will weather to at attractive silvery grey, painting and staining are totally unnecessary, because cedar is naturally rot-resistant and can last 20 years or more, even when left untreated.

Our Unique installation tools allow you to install your D-100 Dock quickly and easily, without ever getting wet!

There is no heavy equipment involved.  All the components are designed so one person can lift them.  Float you dock in while you stay high and dry.  Fall removal is a simple reversal of the spring installation process.  There is never a need to don waders, or enter icy water.

Model D-700 Dock

Don’t Sacrifice Strength, Durability, and Stability for Ease of Installation When You Can Have It All In an Eklof D-700 Dock

High tensile strength hot-dip galvanized steel pipe. Welded steel hot-dip galvanized steel frames.

You y choice of western red cedar or powder-coated aluminum decking. Only Eklof D-700 docks have them all. Without question, D-700 docks are in a class all by themselves.

You’ll feel safe mooring your boat to a D-700 dock. And you’ll appreciate the ease of installation that comes with a framework that floats in and out. There’s no need to use waders, or get in the water. A custom floatation device installs your D-700 dock at whatever height off the water you need. The float adjusts for height, so seasonal water fluctuation won’t hamper fall removal, either. Simply adjust the float if the water level has changed.

The pipe frame. and downrights combine to form metal-to-metal connections that impart extraordinary stability, and won’t wear out as do the wood-to-metal, and plastic-to-metal connections found on most traditional docks.

D-700 docks are designed to be. easily installed by one person. First, the starter stanchion is installed on shore, using a sleeve hammer. Next, the first frame is floated into position, using our specially designed float.

Adjustment for height off the water level can be. made at this time, should you wish. The frame is then secured to the starter stanchion using the 1/2″ set screws provided. Then the deck for the first section is slid onto the floating framework. Carry out the downright pipes, and drive them in using the sleeve

hammer. Level the dock with the swivel jack if necessary, and set the set screws.

This process is then repeated until your entire dock is installed. The float is removed and stored until you’re ready to take the dock out in the fall. Then the installation process is reversed. The swivel Jack will also pull the pipes in the fall, so you won’t wrench your back trying to twist them out with a pipe wrench.

Need a swim ladder? No problem – they’re available in a variety of lengths!

Sectionl Dock – Each Section ramps up or down!

Stability

Each dock section is designed to hold 60 lbs. of water in its 100% welded frame. This feature adds stability and helps to hold the dock system in place during storms, high winds, and strong wave action. The water is drained by removing the plugs under each section before removal in the fall.

The 4′ x 8′ sections are connected end-to-end and side-to-side by our own unique interlocking hinge. The first sections can form a ramp up or down allowing for formation to any shoreline terrain. For maximum stability the dock legs are braced from front-to-back and from side-to-side. If you have steps, a retaining wall, or another dock and connect our dock, the Starter Hinge will give you the start you need.

Our dock legs are braced from side-to-side and front-to-back for maximum stability. There are no leg posts above the dock surface and the legs do not need to be removed. This makes installation, removal, and storage easier. It also maintains a clean appearance.

Functionality, Durability & Flexibility

Pier Pleasure’s adjustable legs allow leveling from the top of the dock without entering the water. Each leg levels independently and there are no set screws or holes to line up. The leg adjustment carries a full lifetimewarranty.

Height indicators on each leg make leveling easy and accurate. The indicators show you the distance from the top of the dock to the surface of the water. All bolts, pins, and fasteners in the dock system are stainless steel which means no corrosion, no maintenance, and long-term clean appearance

Our sectional dock systems design flexibility allows for virtually unlimited layout options and additional sections can be easily added at any time to customize your dock layout to fit your needs as they change.

Put simply, our sectional docks are designed to allow you to install and remove the dock without getting wet! With a VW Sectional Dock all the work is done above the water, on the dock itself.
